Your Albertus Story

Why did you choose Albertus?
I choose Albertus because I felt at home when I was on my first tour with Coach Caruso. When I visited during Accepted Students Day, I met Professor DeCarli who spent a good 30 minutes with me and my dad answering my questions. I also met a lot of students who seemed to love the school and were a part of a close community, which was what I was looking for during my college search.

Clubs, Activities, Volunteering:
Student Government Association (SGA), Student Alumni Association (SAA), Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC), GNAC SAAC, Lead Admission Ambassador, Campus Recreation Intern

Favorite Professor: Dr. DeCarli

Favorite Class: Sport Venue and Management

Favorite Place on Campus: Bree Commons

Sport Played at Albertus: Soccer & Lacrosse

Who is your funniest teammate and why?
Lexi Fenn because she always found a way to make someone laugh, the few times I've seen her serious was strange, she always liked being the center of attention and did anything odd or funny to achieve that. She was always there for me ready to make me laugh.

Most memorable game or athletic event:
I think would have to be the press conference that was announcing the addition of Men's Ice Hockey. I was told days before because I was on the executive board for SAAC at the time. It was an exciting concept to be a part of, then being able to attend the men's ice hockey games my senior year was a lot of fun.

What is the greatest lesson you've learned from being a student-athlete?
Playing a college sport is a blessing that many students don't get. Through all the ups and downs your sport has been the constant. You give it your all because it may be the last time you get to play it.
