  • Women’s Swimming and Diving Hosts Swim Meets for Sacred Heart Academy; Participates in BLM Tread-a-thon

    NEW HAVEN, Conn. - While this fall has presented many differences and challenges for athletics around the country, the Albertus Magnus College athletic department remains steadfast in its commitment to the four pillars of the college-community, prayer, service, and study. To make-up for a loss of athletic competitions, each of the athletic teams is participating in a different service project, including community clean-up, athletic lessons, and volunteering efforts.
  • Women's Volleyball Helps Out with Hope House Ministries

    NEW HAVEN, Conn. – The Albertus Magnus College women’s volleyball team did their part for this year’s community service initiative and partnered with Hope House Ministries, which is an organization committed to providing quality care to the poor, marginal, and wounded people that often go unnoticed in society. The organization recognizes every life as sacred and believes that everyone has the right to be respected and protected.

    NEW HAVEN, Conn. -- Following the successful talk with Ivy Watts earlier in the year, Albertus Magnus College athletics is excited to announce a keynote workshop with former Yale football player turned mental performance and leadership coach Sebastian Little. The workshop, titled Unlocking Resilience: Playing Your Best While Embracing the Mess, is scheduled to occur on Tuesday, Nov. 17, beginning at 7 p.m.

    NEW HAVEN, Conn. – Today, the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) announced that all conference-sponsored competition and championships for the 2020-21 winter season have been canceled. The winter sports affected include men’s and women’s basketball, women’s swimming & diving and men’s ice hockey.

    NEW HAVEN, Conn. - Throughout the fall semester, the Albertus Magnus athletics department is participating in team service projects in lieu of athletic competitions. The women’s field hockey and lacrosse teams partnered together and worked with the United Way of Greater New Haven to show their appreciation for the front line workers that continue to serve the New Haven community throughout the ongoing pandemic.

  • Albertus Magnus Athletics Lands 127 Student-Athletes on Spring 2020 Dean's List

    NEW HAVEN, Conn. - Albertus Magnus College announced its Dean List recipients for the Spring 2020 academic semester. Over the spring semester, the Falcons placed __ student-athletes from across 15 different intercollegiate sports on the Dean's List. In addition, the Falcons had 127 student-athletes receive a GPA of 4.0.
  • Albertus Magnus College Announces Spring 2021 Semester Start Date
    October 12, 2020
    Albertus Magnus College will join several colleges and universities in the region and across the country and delay the spring 2021 semester as a precaution in order to help prevent the spread of COVID-19. The new start date is Monday, January 25. In addition, Albertus is offering a three-week intersession beginning January 4, 2021.
