The Albertus Magnus men's basketball team has been ranked No. 17 in the D3hoops.com Top-25 Poll to earn a ranking for the fifth-straight week.
Last week, they earned the 19th ranking in the Nation and have moved up two spots after a 2-0 record last week. Prior to that, the Falcons were their highest seed of the season at No. 16 before upsetting then-No. 13 Purchase on the Falcons' home court.
On Jan. 13, the Falcons broke into the poll for the first time this season as they were tagged as the No. 23 Division III men's basketball team in the Nation. The Falcons received votes the previous four weeks before getting into the top-25.
The Falcons are 19-2 on the year and are 13-1 in the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC).
UW-Stevens Point remained in first place with 14 first-place votes even after their first loss of the season as the Pointers are 20-1 on the year. Cabrini earned 11 first-place votes to remain in second with a perfect 18-0 record. UW-Whitewater moved into the third spot with a 19-3 overall record.
The D3hoops.com Top-25 is voted on by a panel of 25 coaches, Sports Information Directors and media members from across the country, and is published weekly.
