Led by 19 points and 10 blocks from Victor Ljuljdjuraj (Yorktown Heights, N.Y.), the #12 Albertus Magnus men's basketball team downed Emmanuel College 84-58 in Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) play on Wednesday night in Boston.

With the win, the Falcons improve to 12-1 on the year and an impressive 7-0 in league play, while the Saints drop their third-straight game to fall to 4-9 on the year and 2-5 in GNAC action. Tonight's win marked the 12th straight for the Falcons over Emmanuel as six of those contests were played in Boston.  The Falcons are now 17-11 all-time against the Saints.

The first half was low scoring for both teams as the Falcons, who average 96.1 points per game this season, led by just eight points at 16-8 midway through the frame.

After Albertus led 20-8, Emmanuel battled back and cut the lead to five at 27-22. The Falcons answered with a run of their own to put the lead back up to double digits.
At the break, the Falcons led by 10 at 39-29.

After the half, the Saints cut into the Albertus lead but only got as close as six points. The Falcons held the Saints to just 15 points in the first 12 minutes of the second half.

The Falcons extended their lead to as much as 27 with a minute left on the clock. Tavon Sledge (Spring Valley, N.Y.) added 14 points off the bench, while senior Lemar Larsen (Waterbury, Conn.) contributed with 15 points and 11 rebounds.

The Falcons shot 55% from the floor and earned 26 assists on 33 made baskets.

Albertus will return to New Haven for a Saturday afternoon match-up this weekend.  The Falcons will host Lasell College in a 3:00 p.m. contest.
