New Haven, Conn. – Former Albertus Magnus College men's basketball player Amir Maddred (Camden, N.J.) has signed a professional contract with Club Rahonevi in Kosovo.

Maddred played one year with the Falcons after transferring from Slippery Rock University in 2017-18. He also earned Third Team All-Conference honors after averaging 10.5 points and 6.6 rebounds per game.

He appeared in 27 games for the Falcons and knocked down 56.6 percent of his shots from the field, ranking him second in the conference. He registered six double-doubles as well as ranked fourth in the league in offensive rebounds with 70. Maddred also concluded the season with 10 assists, 15 blocks and 12 steals.

Maddred is the second player from the 2017-18 Albertus Magnus men's basketball team to sign a professional contract. Jaqhawn Walters signed a professional contract earlier this month with Club Gimnasia & Esgrima.
