    WINTHROP, Mass. – Senior Jahmerikah Green-Younger (Norwalk, Conn.) and junior Tyreek Perkins (New Haven, Conn.) of the Albertus Magnus College men’s basketball team earned All-Great Northeast Athletic Conference honors as announced by the league office on Monday afternoon. Green-Younger earned first team honors, while Perkins landed on third team.

Albertus then defeated the sixth-seeded Lasers of Lasell University in dramatic fashion, 95-94, in the semifinals to advance to their ninth straight GNAC Championship Game.

    The Falcons' quest for a ninth league championship began on Tuesday, Feb. 25, with a 7 p.m. quarterfinal matchup against the seventh-seeded Rams of Suffolk University. The Falcons defeated the Rams, 82-79, and advanced to the semifinal round, where they will face the sixth-seeded Lasers of Lasell University on Thursday, Feb. 27 at 7 PM at "The Nest".

With the win, the Falcons avenge the 81-68 loss they suffered to the Rams earlier this season and extend their current winning streak to seven games.

    New Haven, Conn.- Albertus Magnus College announced its Dean List recipients for the Fall 2019 academic semester. Over the fall semester, the Falcons placed 44% (99) of their total student-athletes from across 15 different intercollegiate sports on Dean’s List. In addition, the Falcons had 24 students receive a GPA of 4.0 for the Fall semester.
