Men’s Golf Places Fifth at the Brett Williamson Invitational

Westfield, Mass. - The Albertus Magnus College men's golf team carded a team score of 344 as the Falcons competed in the Third Annual Brett Williamson '11 Invitational at Tekoa Country Club, hosted by Westfield State. Tekoa Country Club is a Par-71 and 6,348 yard course. The Falcons finished the invitational placing fifth overall out of nine teams. Junior Ryan Sember (Branford, Conn.) carded a team-low as well as set a new personal-best with a score of 75.

  • Last season at the Brett Williamson Invitational, the Falcons placed eighth overall. 

  • Quinn was just three strokes shy of tying his personal best (89) which was set back in 2017 at the MCLA Tournament. 

  • Fowler tied his season-low with a score of 95. 

  • Sember was just two strokes shy of tying Aaron Macchia, who holds the current record in the best single round score with 73. Macchia recorded the low score back in 2015 at the Westfield State Invitational. 


The men's golf team returns to action on Wednesday, Sept. 25 as the team takes on Mitchell College. Tee-time is set for 12PM at New Haven Country Club.
