Albertus Wins 1-0 Behind O'Connor in Goal

New Haven, CT- The Albertus Magnus College Men's Soccer Team defeated GNAC opponent Emerson College on Saturday afternoon 1-0.  Tied 0-0 at the half, the Falcons scored in the 78^th minute from the benefit of an Emerson own goal off an Albertus Magnus College throw-in from Alphonse Buccitti (West Haven, CT).  Senior goalkeeper Gerald O'Connor (Hamden, CT) starred in goal making 12 saves to preserve the shut-out.  Albertus Magnus College improves to 9-5-1, 4-3 GNAC while Emerson College drops to 6-7-0, 4-4-0 GNAC.  Albertus Magnus College hosts GNAC opponent Johnson and Wales on Wednesday with a 3:30pm kick-off.
