On January 5, 2013, the Albertus Magnus women's basketball team will face 2012 NCAA Tournament participant St. Joseph's College of Brooklyn at 3:00 p.m. at the brand-new Barclays Center, home of the NBA's Brooklyn Nets, as part of a doubleheader with the Nets.

St. Joseph's will host the Falcons for a 3:00 p.m. contest that will serve as the early game of a day/night twinbill featuring the Nets' first home game of the 2013 New Year when they host the Sacramento Kings in a 7:30 p.m. match-up.

Tickets are being sold at $45 and $99 apiece and the number of tickets are limited. To purchase a ticket fans must contact Albertus Magnus Director of Athletics Michael Spinner. He can be reached by phone at 203-773-8578 or by email at mspinner@albertus.edu.

Fans will be able to purchase one ticket that will allow access to both games on that day.

The Barclays Center opened on September 28, 2012, and is located in the heart of Brooklyn, N.Y. It is capable of seating 18,000 for its basketball games. The Nets' first home game at the Barclays Center took place on October 15 against the Washington Wizards as the Nets downed the Wizards 98-88.
