Women’s Lacrosse Announces 2017 Schedule

New Haven, Conn. – Albertus Magnus College women's lacrosse Head Coach Joe Caruso (fourth season) has announced his team's schedule for the upcoming 2017 spring season. In total, the Falcons take to the field 14 times, highlighted by nine Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) games and nine contests in front of their home crowd at Celentano Field.

Heading into the fourth season in program history, Albertus Magnus is coming off a 1-12 campaign in which the Falcons scored a 12-10 home victory against Bay Path. This season, the squad will look to a strong core of returners and some new talent to move up in the GNAC standings.

Albertus Magnus opens the year with a home contest against Newbury on March 21 before traveling to Daniel Webster for a non-conference clash on March 23. The Falcons then open GNAC play against Simmons on March 25 and will wrap up the month with a home contest against Bay Path on March 27.

The first home games of the Month of April are against Emmanuel (Mass.) (4/1) and Norwich (4/8). From there, the Falcons hit the road for games at Saint Joseph's (Conn.) (4/12), Mount Ida (4/15) and Johnson & Wales (4/19). That contest is followed by a four-game homestand – games against Lasell (4/22), Rivier (4/23), Dean (4/25) and Mount St. Vincent (4/27).

The Falcons conclude the regular season on April 29th at Saint Joseph's of Maine.
