2011-12 Championships and Major Accolades
The Albertus Magnus Department of Athletics had a very successful 2011-12 year, producing two GNAC Regular-Season Championship teams, one GNAC Tournament Championship team, two All-Americans and 33 All-Conference Team selections.

Celebrate Frankie’s Birthday/Student-Athlete Appreciation Day
Albertus Magnus College will celebrate the birthday of its mascot, Frankie the Falcon, in honor of Student-Athlete Appreciation Day on April 4. Student-Athlete Appreciation Day is honored annually on April 6 but with the day falling on Good Friday, Frankie’s birthday will be celebrated on Wednesday, April 4 at noon in the DeDominicis Dining Hall.

Women's Volleyball to begin 2011 Campaign on Sept. 1
The Albertus Magnus women’s volleyball team announced its 2011 schedule on Wednesday as the Falcons begin their season on Thursday, Sept. 1 at Gordon College in Wenham, Mass. Head coach Omar Ramirez enters his second year at the helm of the women’s volleyball program and will look to lead the Falcons to a successful campaign in the Great Northeast Athletic Conference in 2011.
