    NEW HAVEN, Conn. – Amidst a cold, ongoing drizzle, the Albertus Magnus Men’s Lacrosse team defeated the MCLA Trailblazers by a convincing final score of 22-8 in the team’s first victory of the 2020 season. Led by freshman Jon Olson (Bellmore, N.Y.), who found the back of the net six times, eleven different Falcons contributed on offense tonight, with five players tallying multiple goals.

    Winthrop, Mass.- The Albertus Magnus College men’s lacrosse team has been picked to finish eighth in the 2020 Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Preseason Poll, a jump up from their ninth-place rank a year ago. The poll, released on Tuesday afternoon, is voted on by the league’s nine head coaches.

    New Haven, Conn.- Albertus Magnus College announced its Dean List recipients for the Fall 2019 academic semester. Over the fall semester, the Falcons placed 44% (99) of their total student-athletes from across 15 different intercollegiate sports on Dean’s List. In addition, the Falcons had 24 students receive a GPA of 4.0 for the Fall semester.

  • Yarbrough Nets Overtime Game-Winner to Lift Falcons Over Becker

    New Haven, Conn. – Freshman Terrell Yarbrough (New Haven, Conn.) found the back of the net with 1:57 left to play in overtime this evening to lift the Albertus Magnus College men's lacrosse team over Becker College, 11-10, in non-conference action under the lights at Celentano Field. The win over the Hawks is the first for the Falcons since the 2017 season and it gives Albertus the 2-1 advantage in the all-time series.
